The Mirror House

Perfect Stay for Study and Relaxation at The Mirror House I had a wonderful stay at The Mirror House in Chiang Mai! Max, the host, was incredibly kind and attentive, making sure I felt right at home from day one. The house is in a quiet, peaceful neighbourhood, perfect for unwinding after a busy day. It’s also conveniently close to the best Thai massage schools, making it ideal for students like me. After class, I could easily relax in the serene atmosphere of the house while still being just a short distance from Chiang Mai's main attractions such as markets, temples and Muay Thai Stadiums. For anyone studying massage or looking for a relaxing, well-located place, The Mirror House is a perfect choice!

Quiet location close to the centre, friendly staff, clean room.

The host is very gracious and helpful. Keeps a peaceful and clean environment.

The room was comfortable and clean. The courtyard was lovely and a great space to read, write, or work, as well as meet other travelers. The restaurant next door, had great coffee and muesli bowls. And the owner Max and his partner were very helpful and friendly. We were able to book all of our day excursions with him and get a 15% discount for booking through the hotel. We were very happy with our stay.

I liked that I could go to the kitchen lobby to boil water and eat. The setup for the dining area outside was lovely. The bathroom was good. It was an interesting setup. I didn't expect the fan to be electric. That was nice.

I did get ate up by mosquitoes outside.

Great care by the owner. Google maps or google suggestions not required, the owner guides you so good.

Very dirty, the bathroom roof had mold, very old facilities, toiled did weird sounds every 2-3 minutes

Although it's guesthouse, and charge the price as a guesthouse, but it's still worse than at least 75% of the hostels in Thailand: totally 2 shower towel and only every 3 days clean the room one time, means everyone need to use a quite rancid shower towel on the second day and the third day. put a wardrobe in the toilet, such a wet and humid place, totally can't use, not mentioned how dilapidated the wardrobe is, and without any coat hanger.
