Stairs very steep up to the room

I arrived on the hottest day of the year and there was not even a fan to keep me cool , I ask for help the manager said he could not provide any solution, I kept my door open, to keep cool but closed it when I slept , had a really bad night . Also bed was cheap mattress bumpy ...didn't enjoy the stay at all . I visit the area for work, but would never stay there again. Sorry owner, I know you will not be liking my review.

There was one had towel, no big towel and not really any other facilities, I was hoping to work on a desk I had seem in the advertising. But my room had no table . Only pluse point was it did have a private bathroom. Also the deposit of 144.99 seem very strange as they only take bank transfer, why would I pay via bank tranfer it is very unsafe method of payment, I offered card payment but it was rejected ...any way I used my natwest app and paid ...but felt some thing doggy But grubby .

First off, it's located in a poor zone full of bad looking people and dirty roads/yards. Then, the car we were travelling was hit by a bunch of teens for no reason as they passed by us laughing. I even came out to check if there was any damage. Once we got to the property, the owner sent a whatsap message saying we needed to pay a 145 GBP deposit before we could even check-in. Then, I asked him to confirm whether the kitchen was private because the description of the room said the room had a kitchenette. He said the kitchen is shared and I informed him my girlfriend had a bacteria in her (as demonstrated by St George's Hospital Tooting/London) gut and that we needed a private kitchen in order to cook food in a healthy environment. THE OWNER REFUSED A FREE CANCELATION AND INSISTED IN STEALING 50 GBP WHEN IN FACT WE NEVER PUT A FOOT INSIDE THIS HOUSE/ROOM! HE DIDN'T EVEN CARE ABOUT THE RISK OF SPREADING A BACTERIA TO OTHER PEOPLE BECAUSE HE NEEDS 50 GBP THAT MUCH OVER ANYTHING! I never expected to find someone this greedy in a country like England... I can't hate them, I even feel sorry for these people... PS: I tried to be as much polite as I could...

It was so bad I couldn’t get In then the company told me to get the pin I need to pay a deposit I said fine… they wanted a bank transfer no credit card or debit card… bank transfer … SCAMMM

Scam and booking.com was no help… awful AI call that doesn’t know anything

The own will not tell you the property and will not let you check in, be aware and don’t Weaste your money.

This is the 2nd time I visited and it was great highly recommended
