The Park Hotel Dungarvan

Dinner served in bar (too loud) because restaurant area was closed.

Far exceeded my expectations. Wonderful location, exceptionally friendly staff (especially in the bar/bistro). Large comfortable room even though I'd only booked basic double. Room fully equipped with a well stocked coffee and tea tray, big fluffy towels, and a tissue box (the latter has been curiously lacking everywhere we've stayed so far in Ireland). Good food in the bistro

Very friendly staff - well located hotel . Food in restaurant and bar was excellent standard

Housekeeping could be a bit tighter . Found a used yoghurt carton in the wardrobe of the bedroom . Dirty extractor fan in the bathroom was very off putting . Bleach stain on the curtain pelmet. In the breakfast room cobwebs over the wall lights. Overall though, we had a very enjoyable stay and would definitely recommend to anyone wishing to visit Dungarvan
