Spectacular Studio Apartment near to Old Trafford stadium

It was down the road from the tramstop so getting to and from the apartment was easy. Checking in and out it easy. Left extra bedding for the sofa bed and extra towels which is always appreciated

It was unbearably warm during the day and night. We could do anything to keep it cool. The pillows and sheets also had marks and a few stains on them.

The apartment is in a great location, straight off Trafford bar tram stop, and one stop away from Old Trafford cricket ground where we were seeing a concert. It's right next door to a halal supermarket, superdrug shop and Iceland supermarket. Further down the street, there were several more shops, including newsagents and takeaways. The apartment itself is a little on the small side, I'd say it was ideal for 2 people to stay in the double bed, but any more and you may be falling over each other! The host provided us with plenty of instructions on how to enter the building and apartment, and also how to use the facilities, overall we had a lovely stay

We didn't have any oven gloves to take stuff out of the oven with (had to use the tea towel), and there weren't any cloths or dish brush to clean dishes and wipe around the counter tops. In the corner by the door, the electric meters and wires etc. were a bit exposed and could probably benefit from being boxed off into a cupboard possibly. There were vertical blinds in the apartment but they wouldn't close together in the middle, resulting in me being awake at the crack of dawn when the sun came blaring through the window, just minor issues which I'm sure wouldn't take much to rectify.

The apartment had a horrible mouldy smell. We messaged them after we had cleaned any areas we thought the smell might have came from and then they asked us to return to the apartment to give keys to a cleaner who arrived with a bottle of ferbreeze. The ferbreeze didn't cover up the smell, but after asking for a refund they offered to move us to a different apartment. Not entirely convinced they would have offered the move if I hadn't asked for a refund. The new apartment was fine, but by the time we were offered the new apartment over half of our stay was over..

It was a great location for attending the Manchester United match with only a 15-20 minute walk to the stadium and the tram station is super close to the apartment (3-5 min walk) and there's two grocery stores right next door to the studio apartment. Because of those 2 reasons, I would say it served its purpose well.

The pictures are misleading because I thought the bed was in it's own bedroom, but literally it's just a small room with the kitchen, table, pull-out-sofa, and bed all together. So beware that there is no privacy sleeping or changing if you're traveling with someone else. And lastly, there was a problem with the toilet, where you had to make sure you jiggle the button loose or the toilet water would keep running and circulating.

The sofa bed was awful - would not offer it to my dog to sleep in thats how uncomfortable it was
