Historic Unique Castle Apartment in Central Perth

Location - the location of the castle was good. Easily reached and good access to all roads. Also having parking right outside the accommodation.

This part is difficult for us, as we don't like being negative about accommodation where we've stayed. However, we found the beds to be extremely uncomfortable. So much so we ended up using both rooms/beds to try and get a nights sleep. Things were only exacerbated by the settee and chairs in the living room. These were contemporary in style but extremely uncomfortable to sit in. We ended up sitting on the dining chairs most of the time. We followed the instructions for the hot water in the kitchen and we're still waiting on it running hot. We ended up boiling the kettle for hot water. The water in the bathroom was only ever warm. That said the shower was excellent, the only thing missing was a shower caddy to hold toiletries etc. We could only get one of the bedroom heaters working, although we had them set the same. Couldn't get any heat from the hall heater and gave up trying. The most annoying thing was the T.V....it just drove you to distraction...sometimes taking 10 to 15 minutes before coming on. (We did follow the instructions left, but to no avail). Sorry we can't be more positive about the accommodation.

No breakfast included. Our stay was short and we used the place only to sleep. We thought it is a comfortable stay for 2 nights. Towels provided and some sight seeing leaflets in the house. Useful info. Easy to check in.

May be few more basic breakfast stuff and tea/coffee, hot chocolate. Washing up liquid in the kitchen. Soap and Shampoo in the bathroom. We had a hand wash.

Good Location

The location was amazing and the flat was clean comfortable

Big airy rooms. Kitchen had everything we needed in it to be able to make food and keep our drinks cold! It was in a great location with a nice local pub five minutes up the road and not too far from the shops and town centre. Quiet area.

Cooker was a bit antiquated but we were only using it once a day for breakfast. Bedrooms need curtains as well as the blinds that are there to enable the outside light to be blocked completely (I dont like sleeping in a bright room).

Great location, great communication, had everything we needed. Quiet street and friendly neighbours. Small supermarket a few mins walk and 15 mins to train station.

Double bed a bit firm for me
