Nishitetsu Hotel Croom Hakata Gion Kushida Shrine

Great location, right across exit 4 for Kushida Shrine subway stop. The public bath was great especially after a long day of walking around. Check in and check out was easy. I booked the one bedroom with a washing machine and dryer which was very helpful. Free filtered water is available on every floor and you're provided a water jug which is great. Room was big for Japan standards. I could fit a large and medium luggage easily.

The room came with a hot plate and that was basically it. I had to ask for a pot, cooking spoon, plate and cutlery. There's no fry pan included despite there being a vent in the kitchen for cooking. The staff were completely lost when I asked for cookware! I also felt like the staff didn't want me to cook there despite the hotplate being part of the room. Keep in mind, room cleaning is only every second day so you only get laundry detergent every other day. I was also surprised that things like lotion, face/body cream was not provided in the amenities bar like with other hotels in Japan.

Hôtel très propre, agréable et très bien situé, Personnel très serviable, souriant, un vrai plaisir de communiquer avec eux. Chambre spacieuse et bien équipée. Petit déjeuner très bon et varié. Localisation parfaite, à quelques minutes à pied de la station de métro

Close to two train lines and right outside one of the exits. Quiet area relative to the broader Fukuoka area. Short walking distance to Canal City, 711 and Family mart. Coin laundry on site. Clean and comfortable hotel room. Good for young families.
