Historic Stable on a Private Vineyard

A unique wonderful accommodation. Good online and text communication from the owners. Beautiful quiet countryside surroundings. Close to local amenities. Need use of a car though. Clean and tidy. Suggestions towards improvements include : Shower room/toilet smells quite damp and would benefit some decorating. Hard cold stable floor would be improved if there were some rugs either side of the bed and in the living area. A wardrobe to hang clothing would be useful. This is not a negative review as we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this accommodation and would definitely go back without hesitation.

It was a lovely break! The flooring is cold so bring your slippers!

Location and quirkiness of the property. Was nice and warm and the bed was really comfortable.

Bathroom was a let down. Looked tired and needed decorating and a round toilet seat was put on a square toilet which was odd.

Very quirky accommodation. Very clean and comfortable.

Some rugs would be useful on the very cold floor. Slightly too many automated communications from the hosts.

The Stable is very well equipped with appliances. Fresh coffee and a coffee machine was a nice addition. It’s got everything needed for a break from home. It’s very quirky and retains its original features apart from the horses. Great place to go with a dog it’s off the road and there is a small wood to run around.

The road signage needs to be clearer and the grounds and road frontage have become very wholly obscuring oncoming traffic. The bathroom smelt a bit damp.

It was so peaceful

I thought the check-in time was too late, and departure time was too early in fact, far too early! Equally on the last day there was no hot water at the shower,the water was tepid and for that money I thought thatwas was inadequate .
