Great place to stay, both inside and outside. It's a very quiet, private and lovely place to be. There are gorgeous beaches nearby and lots to do. Paula was a wonderful, kind and considerate host.

"Brilliant property. Ideal for a short break."

Our second stay at Highthel. The property is very comfortable and well equipped. Hosts are friendly and helpful and live locally so are available to help with any queries, Quiet location only a short drive (or a long walk) to the sandy beaches at Cresswell. Local shop (Co-op) in Ellington for basics or Ashington for more choice.

Nothing to dislike. Be aware that parking is safe and easy but a few metres from the property.

"Wonderful property in a very lovely and peaceful area"

Beautifully presented, equipped, and very clean cottage, the bed was comfortable, and everything was in reach from the bungalow would 100% recommend and we will definitely be back hopefully bring my children next time they would love it there I know.. Paula and Keith were very lovely and welcoming and gave us some pointers on places to go and eat etc. Thank you again for the lovely stay 🫶

"A wonderful place to stay; a true gem"

A wonderful place to stay. Had everything that we needed. The host had provided some milk, tea/ coffee and sweet treats, which was a lovely gesture on arrival. This felt like home from home and the host was very friendly.

Everything was great. If we had had any issues, the host was just around the corner, so things would have been sorted out quickly. Not a problem for us and it is mentioned in the description but parking is not possible outside the accommodation, so there is a very short distance to walk from car to property

Well provisioned property. Great hosts. Fantastic location.

May want to consider some shades for the sunlounge. It got very hot when in full sun.
