The cottage is so lovely and cosy…. Parking outside or nearby. We have family that live in Market Weighton so this is a great property for us and others from our family. It’s even better that they accept pets. This cottage exceeded our expectations and was vey clean. All the little extras that’s are there for both humans and our furry friends was great - the host thought of everything. I was especially impressed that the host (if available) will also support with pet sitting if you would like to visits somewhere that doesn’t accepts pets like a restaurant for example (for an extra fee) but this is great!! Will definitely be visiting again in the future and others in our family will keep this property in mind when we visit Market Weighton. We only stayed for night wish out stay was for longer.

Excellent communication on the run up to our trip, Carol was incredibly responsive, helpful and even left special treats for our son with dietary requirements. So many very thoughtful touches, everything you could need and v comfortable with the log fire, very welcoming to the pooch as well! Conveniently located for amenities on road opposite a big Tesco and a Dominos pizza. We had an excellent meal at the Bay Horse as recommended by Carol and easy to park on the road directly outside the front door.

It was just a little further from the Wolds footpath than I had realised- but still a max ten minute walk from the property, through Market Weighton. We were very short on time and were able to drive and park by the entrance to the Wolds walk too so that’s also an option.

Lovely cosy cottage, the fireplace in the front room makes it extra special. Hosts were very welcoming and acomidating with great communication. Everything you need for a comfortable stay in a great area, will return again in the future.

Parking is free just down the road but with the location you can understand why it's a struggle!

Gorgeous cottage. All mod cons, thought of everything, plus lots of added extras. Very cosy place to stay. Even better than in the pictures. Fab location. Helpful host.
