Wow, it’s fantastic, just loved the place. This is one of those places where you just say, yeah this is fabulous. Well set out, clean, great kitchenette, comfortable & relaxing and all set in a stunning environment. So easy to sit back, relax and take in the exceptional vista. Wish we could have stayed a few more nights - for our next visit we will be booking early.

We had the most magical stay at this little cottage! Nestled in beautiful native bush with a stunning view of the sea, it was the perfect place to relax and unwind. Watching the sunrise from bed was an absolute highlight! The outdoor shower with view of the bush was incredible, made even better by the sound of birds chirping all around. The cottage itself was super comfortable and had everything we needed for a cozy stay. It was also in a fantastic location, close to amazing local walks, gorgeous beaches and charming shops of Tākaka Township. I was worried when we turned up that the cottage was so close to the main residence but we didn’t see a single person the whole weekend. Also wasn’t sure about the composting toilet as I’d never come across one before but it was completely fine! Highly recommended to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat in nature!
