Excellent location and accommodating host.

Would have preferred the fridge and microwave to have been within the room,

Needs to be more professional and note there is not a Wi-Fi or television facility

Hosts and relaxing room

Our hosts were very generous, providing soft drinks and food stuff for us. Very handy, having use of a fridge, toaster, and a micro wave. Our bed was very comfortable and we enjoyed the peaceful surroundings.

Nothing we didn't like

My husband and I stayed at this property as we were travelling to Norfolk and needed a stopover for I night that would also accommodate our dog Mutley. The accommodation is a studio annex to a house. It’s homely, clean and comfortable and has all amenities you will need . Tea, coffee and milk are provided as well as doggy biscuits! There is parking at the property and if you are bringing a dog the Lickey hills are just opposite the accommodation. The host Phil was informative and very helpful.

Excellent for dog owners

Location was lovely and so were the owners. Plenty of fresh milk, cereal and some snacks. Good size towels

It isn’t an apartment, just a room with a small ensuite shower There was no balcony or views over the hills as advertised. The view was parked cars directly outside the window. No heating. It was cold once it rained and the radiator didn’t work. One Small window which was supposed to be the Fire Exit but it would be impossible to climb up to it in an emergency or otherwise. A Narrow Corridor leading down to the room was completely cluttered with garden equipment, tools and all manner of junk from floor to ceiling. Hand saws, a metal rake hanging on the wall, hammers and other menacing looking equipment and a large wood splitter by the door. It was like something from a horror movie! I felt very uncomfortable. The furniture was old, dark and underneath the large dining table was thick dust. Chair covers looked dirty and needed to go in the bin. The host was friendly but I wasn’t comfortable. He asked me to give a review on booking.com but I chose to privately message him with my concerns rather than give a bad review publicly. I wanted him to fix up the things I had concerns about and particularly not advertise things that were not supplied. I see the advertisement is still the same as it was and therefore I am telling you all this so others do not have the same experience I had. There may well be another apartment on the property that is everything mine was not but I certainly didn’t see any balcony anywhere. I had to go around the back of the house to gain access although my room was at the front overlooking the parked cars in the front garden. I see some favourable reviews for this property so I have to assume there is another apartment these people must have stayed in because mine wasn’t what I was expecting at all and certainly not a ‘Beautiful little Apartment’
