Superior Cabin with Private Beach Lofoten

The cabin's location is amazing...you are literally right on the sea shore! The great big picture windows give a fantastic view over the fjord and to the mountains beyond. It's very well equipped and everything is pretty much brand new. It's very comfortable and very spacious, so there's loads of room. It has pretty much everything you need including a dishwasher, internet, Apple TV, Bluetooth speaker, a big fridge with freezer compartment, microwave, induction hob, food processor...and much more! It's about a 10 minute drive to Leknes so you're close to shops and amenities if you need them. We didn't meet the owners in person but all communication with them was prompt and efficient.

Not really a problem as such, but there is no curtain on the big picture window...so if the sun is shining, it's almost impossible to watch TV because of the glare on the screen. Like I say, not really a problem but just something to be aware of.

The property has absolutely everything you need, brand new design, all appliances, spectacular views, massive windows. It’s absolutely amazing to stay there.

There’s nothing i didn’t like but maybe few things to just have in mind. Kitchen’s iutensils drawer would be more natural to be next to the stove not all the way at the end. Would be great if there was a bin in the bathroom. The fancy toilet is a bit too fancy at times, but you get used to. Water pressure could be a bit greater. It was just the two of us staying so there was no problem , but since the house can accommodate 6 people, 1 bathroom/toilet feels not enough. Owners could consider adding a toilet in the entrance hall where the vacuum cleaner is kept, you have all the facilities for it as the bathroom is across the wall. 😃😃

Beautiful cabin in a lovely location. Super cosy and warm with high spec fixtures and fittings. Loved the picture windows with glorious views. Would highly recommend and would love to return. Thanks for a great stay. Wish it could have been longer

The best cabin I have ever been! The view is gorgeous from every window. The cabin is located near the water, excellent place to see the northern lights. Bathroom is great, kitchen equipped perfectly. Everything was perfect! Two new armchairs in the living room were very comfortable to sit and see the view Parking is convenient near the cabin

Couldn’t rate this property more highly! We had the most wonderful stay. A nice quiet location with a beautiful home and stunning views. It’s a special stay when a place feels like a home, not just a visit.

Our trip to Lofoten was divided into two sections: ther first one (3 days) close to Reine (where we did Reinebringen, Kvalvika etc) and the other 3 days in the cabin (where we did some other trekkings available in the area and relaxed). It is a perfect spot to do trekkings like Offersøykammen and visit Hauklandstranda, Uttakleiv and Vik beaches. The coastal walk between Hauklandstranda and Uttakleiv is highly recommended. The cabin (actually a whole house) is brand new, modern, well equipped, and simply stunning. It comfortably sleeps 6 people. The living room is spacious, kitchen well equipped, wifi great, and the views from the living room are simply stunning. When we were in Lofoten it was raining most of the time, but we didnt bother as staying in the cabin itself was pure pleasure. The owners are super friendly Norwegian couple that live nearby (in the same village). We hope to be back in the wintertime (I can only imagine what it looks like in the winter). Once the sauna is installed it will be 11/10.
