Superior Cabin with Private Beach Lofoten

The view and layout of the property is stunning. The picture window makes it a year round location to enjoy whatever the weather. We were lucky, sun meant we could enjoy the deck and the beach.

The property is not yet quite finished so does not yet have any outside furniture- as we have been travelling in our camper we had camp chairs with us but if not we would have missed comfortable seating outside. I am sure this will be rectified in the future. The sauna will be fab to have too 😀

The view of this cabin is unbelievable! And the cabin itself is new, with all commodities… You have the feeling to be in the middle of the nature, alone with birds, sea and mountains!

All was perfect!

Everything. But most of all the view through the huge picture window. It stopped us in our tracks every time. Really lovely design throughout and great quality fixtures and fittings (although we never quite figured out the loo's many functions), and it's clear this is a family home so there's films and games around. Look out for the clown bottle opener - he likes to spring a surprise! Come here for the location, because it is sublime. You're isolated, yet less than 10 minutes from Leknes, the view out is completely unimpeded for 180 degrees or more, you can watch the sun almost all day long. Oh, and the seabirds are wonderful: nesting, eating, flying and playing right outside. They don't, however, like drones. We spent days out, but coming back to this felt special every time.

Few quirks - obviously it's newly built and the sauna isn't yet up and running, and there's a couple of tiny bits of missing trim. Oddest one for us was the location of the microwave... you have to open the fridge door and there it is on top. Fine if you're seven feet tall. Also would have been good to have some bedside lights - and the two smaller bedrooms are very small. You'll only use them to sleep, so it's fine

This is the most wonderful cabin where we have ever been! Huge windows, a terrace and a beach. A perfect place to watch the midnight sun. The cabin had everything we needed and a bit more. There are some beautiful unmarked hiking trails beginning in 2-3 kilometers from the cabin. The owners were very friendly and gave us good tips for day hikes and trips.

A bit difficult to reach the beach because of the big stones.
