Really nice facilities WiFi wasn’t the best but would book again

Location is great

No keys were left for us upon arrival, leaving us stranded and confused. We discovered the next day that the owner claimed the cleaner had simply "forgotten" to leave them. But this was just the start of a nightmare. The contact number provided for emergencies initially rang without answer, and then, to make matters worse, switched to voicemail. This left us out on the street late at night with absolutely nowhere to go. Despite Booking.com's attempts to help, they were tied down by their process and couldn't reach the property owner either. In the end, we were completely abandoned and left helpless in a foreign place, unsure if we'd even have a place to stay.

The property was walking distance from town centre and all the shops

The property had no light working in the kitchen the first night and called the own he came and replaced two lamps on the Friday, the Saturday morning we had no hot water in the bathroom or the kitchen,no contact from owner at all, and I tried to message him and no reply, Booking.com could not get a reply from them. The accommodation was not clean and tidy. Please don’t stay at this place as you will be wasting your money and time, by the way the apartment is next door to a nightclub so be warned.

This is a nice apartament, the owner has done everything in his power to make our stay comfortable.

The apartament is located in a party district, where people know no limits.

On first appearance surfaces were clean and all was tidy. The building is on a pedestrian zone between 2 streets, one street having bars and nightclubs, the other street having loads of restaurants to choose from.

Unfortunately on close inspection 2 things weren't so clean - the double bed mattress and sheet! There was no mattress or pillow protectors and our sheet was thin, dirty and had 'crusty' bits on it. The mattress was heavily stained too. There were no spare sheets so the first night we lay on top of the duvet. We had to go out the next morning and purchase protectors and a sheet. In the bathroom we were left half a roll of toilet paper and very little hand washing liquid (again had to purchase these). There was no anti-slip for the bath/shower either. In the kitchen area we found the lights didn't work and there was no plug for the sink. There were no dishwasher tablets available either. We also had to purchase coffee and sugar. Luckily there's a late night opening corner shop close by. We tried to contact the host by telephone and email but he was unresponsive. Luckily Booking.com customer service were brilliant and have compensated us for our disappointing stay. I just hope that the host has now improved things for future guests, but after our stay I wouldn't be recommending this place to anyone.
