"Lovely stay at Craigendarroch"

Lodges were clean and well equipped. Hotel facilities were of a high standard and the pool was lovely to use.

Extra charge for electricity was surprising. Never had this before and would prefer this to be built into the per night cost as most hotels do. I could understand if there was a meter for the sauna but everything else should be included.

"Second time, but the last time there."

No breakfast. Extra charge for electricity and heating. The swimming pool with a sauna was nice, but there was way too much chlorine (I had burning skin after 2 days). I can smell chlorine on my skin the next day.

The heater in the main bedroom was making a knocking or crackling sound all night. We wake up multiple times every night. So I couldn't tell that I feel relaxed after my holiday. Also, we did get a Lodge 72, which is shielded from the east, south and west sides by lodges, so we didn't get any sunlight. For this money, we could just pay for a week's holiday in sunny Tenerife for 4 people (which we will do next time).

The swimming pool was fantastic! Lounge and restaurant lovely. Lodge had everything needed and felt secluded even though in large resort. The sauna in the bathroom was a welcome addition aftee cheering on all the runners at Run Balmoral and the snow showers.

Only downside is paying extra for electricity, when paying so much for a lodge stay already would be better if it was included.

The studio accommodation is not fit for purpose. Absolutely no sound proofing! Any activity from the above studio is amplified below. Management know this is an issue but are more than happy to falsely advertise all property as a retreat. Several hundred pounds in, I left more exhausted than I arrived.

"Great except for the electricity bill and the weather!"

The place was absolutely fine, just one negative issue. We arrived at the place to find that an electricity charge would be added to our bill. Now I can see why you did this BUT the information about the charge was well hidden on the 11th scroll down page on your website, this does not seem an acceptable way to treat the people staying with you: the need for a charge should be up front.

Had an amazing time, great location, great walks , lodge was really clean and very spacious, The leisure centre was great after a day of outdoor activites, would defo recommend
