Could not work Air conditioning in bedroom

Wonderful central apartment right near bars and restaurants. Bed very comfortable. WiFi was a bit hit and miss.Check-in was easy. All in all i would stay again. Thanks Wonderful Italy 🇮🇹

Wi- fi was not great. Could do with new smart tv allowing Netflix.

The situation was good, close to the historical centre.

The upper level, with the bedroom, was very noisy whenever someone walked the stairs or moved in the room above.

The location

Pretty much nothing else. First of all let me tell you that we are a family with a 3 years old child . To begin, they had left for 3 people half roll of toilet paper in every bathroom. So 1 in total, for 4 days!!! I believe that it was left from the previous booking and not from them! The apartment is a maisonette and most of it is in the basement (see photos). On the upper floor (ground floor) is the bedroom and a small toilet. All the apartment smells moldy and the odor is really bad. Even worse and you can't leave any window open to make the environment bit better because there are no window nets. So you will have to use candles and air conditioning if you dont want to cough all the time. (Especially if you are having breathing issues). The apartment had an espresso machine, but without any capsules. That wasn't a big problem because we had to go to the supermarket for toilet papers anyway, so we bought also espresso capsules! The biggest problem of all was the communication with the company that manages the apartment. When we arrived, the refrigerator wasnt operating properly. It had a lot of ice inside and it's temperature was higher than normal which was resulting to melting of the existing ice. We've sent a message to the agent. He responded that he didn't know about this issue and to check the progress. During the night the refrigerator seemed to be working. Next day the situation became weird. Temperature was low and even the freezer was not working properly. We have texted the agent who gave us the keys and he said that a technician will come in about 30mins. The guy came, he didn't practically do anything and he told us that today they couldn't do anything, but tomorrow the will probably change it. From then and until the day we left the apartment (3 days) they didn't answer in any of my messages. They were just hiding. The story short, the refrigerator was working for couple of hours and then not.

Very central. Quiet. Spacious. Two bathrooms.

Sofabed a little uncomfortable. Ground and underground floor.

Location is excellent just seconds off Via Indipendenza and a 5 minute walk to Piazza maggiore. Choice of lovely cafes right nearby. Host was easy to arrange to meet at my preferred time for the key. Comfortable, the duplex layout gave us more privacy.

My only comment is a coffee in the kitchen would have been lovely.
