The shower a bit cold

Lovely cute little place, decorated well and lovely to have rolls / milk out for us.

The carpets coming up / loose in the hallway, tripped on it (no injury or anything!) but maybe needs some new grips?

Absolutely nothing. DO NOT BOOK HERE !!!!! arrived very dingy neighbourhood felt unsafe. Wrong code to get it to property . Once inside, the smell of mould damp and stale smoke. Partener hit his head on bracket from a door lock.... Then as we moved into the the so call apartment (council estate property) There was bugs on the bedroom floor, dirty switches and walls . Badly stained carpets and furniture. And not very well maintained with loose flooring and just general condition was terrible. Messaged the renter who agreed we could leave if nothing was touched ( her free snacks ) and she refund. I also called booking directly to chase this up. She is unwillingly to refund. We had to find other accommodation for the evening. Travelodge 20 miles away which compared to this Apartment!!! Was like a palace

Decent sized apartment although if using the pull out bed in living area it lessens size a lot. Parking easy Rooms were clean and bread and cereal and milk plus a few snacks provided too

Had incorrect pin on instructions - luckily host answers phone quickly and gave correct pin. However it meant we had to turn phone on roaming so basically a $9 phone call. It’s a bit of a scary neighbourhood

Well equipped with everything you needed for a short break,clean and tidy with cereal,milk, bread etc provided. Comfortable bed.. Area was quiet and car parking either on small car park or road. Excellent communication from owners.Ideal for visiting the Auckland Project.Large supermarkets 5 mins away

At first glance, due to the surrounding area, we were unsure whether to stay. The car park seems to be a repair area, but in saying that, it was very quiet and no problems.

Size of the flat was good, it was comfortable and exceptionally good value.

Nothing to mention here. It was all good.

The check in time was changed from 3pm (as stated on booking.com) to 5pm in check in email. I would not have booked this property if I had known about the delayed check in time, we had plans for the evening and it meant that we had to eat early before the check in to ensure we could get freshened up after a long day travel. When we got there, the apartment had not been cleaned, the owner had got held up at another property. She arrived about 15 minutes after us to clean the property and worked around us, we didn't get to relax in the property at all before we had to go out again for the evening, although it wasn't a relaxing apartment. The owner was apologetic though and offered us the late check out until 12 as compensation, we did not take her up on this offer. The approach to the apartment looks a bit grim and the apartment itself was a shabby in places and not in a chic way, there was also a strange smell and the towels were thin and a bit grey. The kitchen had everything that you needed and was clean enough but we didn't use it. The bed was reasonably comfy.
