Marina Beach Residence with private beach in Marinella

the view from the terrace was very beautiful

it was like 15 years ago, expensive apartments and a hotel that had fallen into disrepair and that no one was looking after. There was literally nothing in the apartments, no soap, no garbage bags, no sponges, no dishwashing liquid, there were pots, but no kettle. But there was a store at the hotel where they sold all of this for you to buy. The room didn't seem clean, sometimes geckos ran in. The hotel grounds were not cleaned, there was trash all around, mixed with men's underwear at the entrance to our building.

First of all the apartment was super pretty. Prettier than in the pictures I dare say. The owner provided useful information and gave us towels and bed linens and the access to the private beach with free sunbeds and umbrella. The rooms were very spacious and the terrace had a lovely view (also really big)! 5 min walk to restaurants, bars and breakfast place and the private beach (the beach itself is quite small and with some rocks but still nice). And around 10 min walk to the main beach in Marinella which we loved. That one is really spacious and when you enter the water the sand is super soft and the water super clean. I really recommend this place. Amazing services!

Nothing I can think of

We had late check in and very late check out without any problems. At reception there is a WiFi area. Appartment is big. We are not that experienced with appartments, so we had to buy a lot, but everything available in the store nearby. The bay is quite close to the airport, so we had no car rent, this limited our radius especially for eating outside. The Marinella bay is perfect for water sports. We ll come again with a car rent and shower gel and dishwasher tabs in the luggage :-D

no tennis rockets to rent (but there are tennis teachers offering lessons on the courts which is not that expensive)
