Mountainside Lodge - Breivikeidet

We stay 3 nights. The first 2 nights it snowed quite a lot, but on the last one we were blessed and could see the Northern Lights. The family is very helpful and communicative. The house is huge and comfy. A “snow paradise” away from the city and neighbours.

Being outside the city allowed us unobstructed views of the mountains and no light pollution, which enhanced our Northern Lights viewing.

Everything. Location, comfort, facilities, top notch.

Well renowated house, big windows and great views. Canoes were available for renting.

- mosquito nets would be needed in the summer - upstairs were no fire alarms - the teracce was unfinished and had no safety rails

Perfect place if you want to spend some time outside the city ! The owners put a lot of care to make this place really comfortable. The place was clean and owners' attention to details ensured that our vacation was seamless. The house is placed in the perfect place to watch aurora. We were not lucky enough because of the weather, but who knows - maybe we will travel there again :)

The warm and welcome support of the owners, made us feel very welcome. After we stranded in the snow with our rental car on the way up to the lodge, they came to the rescue, plowed the road and brought our car up the hill. The owners are very friendly people and helped in anyway they could. The lodge itself is very cosy, spacious and at a top location. We enjoyed our stay very much. An experience we will never forget.

Everything was perfect. The location is breathtaking, the lodge was very cozy, fully equipped and very clean. The hosts were lovely. We can’t wait to go back.
