Thallos Cave House and Apartments

The property was simple, clean with a daily cleaning service, good air conditioning great bathroom and comfortable bed. The staff were very helpful with both any room needs or local advice such as about getting around town or good restaurants.

The location was a little removed from any attractions, places of interest or eateries. There was no option for any English speaking news on the TV such as BBC or Al Jazeera. And given you could only drink bottled water, it was disappointing that water was only provided in our first day and not provided daily.

The location to town was walking distance but we had rented a car to it was very convenient to get around.

The apartment was small but that was as expected- we spent out time exploring the beaches, shopping etc, so the apartment was perfect for sleeping!

The property was really conveniently situated so you could easily access Fira and then be able to travel almost anywhere which was great. The host was lovely as well.

First of all the room was very clean and neat. It was so peacefully and quiet in Kartérados. Eleni was a wonderful host and she helped us with everything. Finding private transfers and good restaurants and she even booked us a wonderful trip on a catamaran. It was a holiday to remember and I hope to come back someday. Eleni and the staff made this holiday even more special for us. Thank you for everything Eleni

The hospitality was amazing and the house is cleaned to the T everyday. Makes you feel like your checking in everyday you come back from the beach. Eleni and her assistant was absolutely top. Would recommend to anyone. Close to the capital Fira

The lovely host Eleni met us at the property and checked us in, showed us to the room, helped with bags, gave amazing advice on where to visit on the island and what to do. Eleni was kind and so helpful always throughout the entire trip she was always available. There were no issues, everything worked perfectly and the rooms were cleaned daily, fresh toiletries, fresh towels etc. She was so thorough in ensuring we had our transfers arranged and any last minute alterations made, the communication was always prompt and helpful! The facilities were so great, clean and beautiful Greek aesthetic in a street that is extremely quiet and peaceful, but a short 5 min walk to a street full of restaurants, bars and the supermarket in Katherados. We often had dinner on the private balcony overlooking the sunset! It is then a short 15-20mins walk to Thira, which is just one straight road SO EASY!!! We would definitely stay here again for the facilities and location but mostly because the host was SO great as well as all other staff members who were so warm and friendly! See you again soon! There is nothing we didnt like!

Comfortable and there is a kitchen and cooker where I can make breakfast. Beautiful to viewing outside It's easier to travel by bus to anywhere and only walk about 10 mins
