Thallos Cave House and Apartments

It had everything we needed. Location ideal to walk in to Thira. But amenities and restaurants nearby too

everything is perfect!

Elgi our host was lovely and very accommodating the location is perfect (10 min walk to fira) and bus stops nearby to take you everywhere on the island kamari is 1 hour walk or short bus oia is also about an hour and a half walk across the lovely coast or a v short bus journey from thira would definitely recommend

Outstanding breakfast. Modern facilities. We were met at the ferry and taken to the apartment and given a full introduction to the island. We were also also taken back and could leave our staircases at the associated restaurant. There is a large supermarket just up the road.

Not much. Be aware that it is about a 20 minute walk into the centre.

everything was very clean, the views with the sunrise were amazing, and the location area was mostly quiet, so you can enjoy silence.

The location it’s a bit of a problem if you don’t drive, because you will have to walk along the road with the traffic.

We loved our stay here and found it to be the perfect location. It’s in a small, quiet village but is so close to the other areas you want to be in. There are a few cafes and a mini market on the main road and an amazing bakery a bit further, we didn’t find we needed much more nearby! There is also a bus stop 5-10 minute walk away which allows you to visit anywhere you want. We chose to hire a car for 2 days and Eleni was extremely helpful in organising this for us, as well as organising a transfer both from the airport and to the ferry port. She also responded to any messages and queries we had straight away! You can walk to Fira in 20-25 minutes or by bus/car 10 minutes. Oia was 25-30 minutes by car & Kamari beach was around 15 minutes by car. The apartment itself is really spacious and decorated really nicely but we especially liked the outdoor area!

The jacuzzi wasn’t hot so it was basically like having your own little plunge pool which was great to cool off from the sun, however the only downside was that you cannot go in the hot tub with suncream/oil on so we had to shower off our suncream before going in. Apart from that everything was 10/10!
