Beautiful holiday flat in Alnwick

Well equipped and in a fantastic location. Bed very comfortable, shower hot and powerful, kitchen with everything we needed. Host offered really helpful communication. I've no doubt we'd stay again if in Alnwick.

Central location, close to restaurants & pubs. Good base for visiting areas nearby eg Seahouses, Amble, Craster etc Spacious living room & bedroom. Bed comfy but would benefit from extra pillows being available as very flat & another bedside table/light. Good WiFi- definitely needed as general reception in Alnwick not great

Directions to apartment need improving!!! Shop next to lane doesn't exist anymore, more than 1 keylock so had to guess which one & no flat number given. Also advertises free parking - yes it's free 6pm-8am but during day you can only park for 2 hours with parking disc(provided) & then not return for 3 hours. We found a free 24 hr car park a walk away (dispensary street) which I would recommend.

Location was perfect for Alnwick as well as driving in and out to surround ding areas, communication with the owner. Lovely quality furniture, stylish lounge, nice and relaxing.

Our only gripe, and this is not the owners fault, was the proximity to the church bells that went off every 15 mins 24/7, so sleeping was a bit of an issue as it was summer and wanted to have the window ooen

Everything was just perfect, the flat and location. Very comfortable.

There was nothing we didn't like.

The apartment had all the facilities we needed during our week's stay in Alnwick, and it is beautifully decorated. We appreciated the pint of milk, tea, coffee and biscuits provided. The apartment is conveniently located very near Alnwick Castle and Alnwick Gardens, shops and restaurants. The living room is comfortable and the television with Freeview channels worked well when we were relaxing in the evening.

Upgrading the mattress would make a big difference to the overall comfort of the apartment. The instructions sent prior to check-in should be updated and made more clear. The business mentioned as being underneath the apartment hasn't existed for some time, so this could cause some confusion. Although the location of the apartment is quite peaceful generally, there was some noise quite early every morning from street sweepers and rubbish collection. We'd recommend people pack ear plugs if they fancy a lie in.

The location, comfortable and clean lovely flat.

Did not realise it was on the top floor, I'm not good on stairs but I managed.

Lovely furniture. Great location. Handy streaming services on tv. Exceptionally clean.

Could do with black out blinds in bedroom and double glazing.
