Beautiful holiday flat in Alnwick

Apartment was lovely, location was perfect

Very uncomfortable matress

No breakfast. Good location

No microwave. Steep stairs to accomodation. No parking permit for on street parking.

Kitchen could have been bigger no work space

Stairs could be a challenge for anyone with mobility issues

location excellent for Alnwick and the surrounding area, it's in town so it's easily walkable to everywhere including the castle, Barter Books and resturants. Morrisons is 2 minutes away on foot as well. Tea bags, sugar and milk left for us which is a nice touch. The local "Mumbai" curry house was lovely. The locals were all friendly and welcoming. In 5 minutes you are out in stunning countryside.

The keys... we discovered a bunch of 5 keys in the key safe, none were labelled so it was a little tricky knowing what was for what (and only 3 locks to open too). Be aware it can be noisy outside (it is in town after all) at weekends in particular, but it was quiet after midnight, The parking situation could have been clearer...there is free overnight parking and free daytime parking which is limited to 2 hours between 8am to 6pm (Mon to Sat no return within 3 hours, Sunday free all day), you need a parking disk which only costs £1, although after arriving and buying one, we discovered there was one left in the flat we could have used.

Lovely fully equipped flat in central location. Owner agreed a marginally early access which was wonderful. The arrival "goodies" were also appreciated.

Mattress was a little soft for our liking but one size doesn't fit all so this is not necessarily a criticism.

Great location. Very nice flat with all the necessary home comforts.

TV need retuning. Kitchen/Hall floor was sticky when.ww arrived
