This is an old milking parlor with thick walls and beautiful lines but created into a spacious clean cozy retreat. I will stay again next time I come to this area!

Our second time staying here and it was just as lovely as we remembered. Great facilities - the hosts provided a cot and high chair for us, which was really helpful. Good, peaceful location - we knew exactly where we were going from a previous visit, but would recommend downloading the what three words app for first-time guests. Thanks for another lovely stay.

"Comfy country stay!"

10.0

Very cosy renovation of 16th century barn. Well equipped and everything works. Dog friendly and field out the back. Also campsite in summer. Friendly owner Craig.

Bunk beds in 2nd bedroom fine for children but bunk might not quite as easy for less mobile adults.

Had a lovely stay at 'The Milking Parlour' In a scenic location in a farm setting on top a hill with some scenic walks avaliable. The property has been recently renovated to a high standard with a compact kitchen, breakfast bar etc. Thanks to the peaceful location and comfortable beds we all slept well. The friendly owner was able to provide info on nearby pubs for dinner and other local tips. Highly recommended.

Nothing.

It is only a short distance to facilities but felt like it was in the middle of the countryside. Very peaceful yet convenient.

Cannot think of anything.

"Relaxing and a special place to start 2026"

10.0

The property was beautifully renovated, very cosy and stylish! We had such a lovely stay and will certainly be back to stay again! The addition of home made Welsh Cakes and milk in the fridge was a lovely touch too!

There was nothing to fault. They owners had carefully thought everything out and it was a lovely relaxed place to stay with great facilities and use of the field for walking the dog too…. And that view was stunning!

"Really beautiful hidden gem"

10.0

Our host Craig was really accommodating permitting us early access as I needed to drop belongings before heading to work locally. The building itself is fascinating - Large historical beams framing the interior. Despite being a very old building, it has been fitted out for modern convenience with a fully functional kitchen, beautiful bathroom with fabulous shower and is fully centrally heated, controllable by occupants. Furnished for comfort with quirky touches and literature on local attractions to visit, this was the perfect place for us to stay with our little furry friend in tow. Shall definitely use again.

There is no outdoor seating area - Not an issue in winter and I'm sure in summer if you wanted to you could find somewhere on there farm to sit and take in the sunshine if you wanted to.
