Delightful One Bed Victorian Flat

The flat was lovely the pictures don’t do it justice. Very comfortable and clear communication with owner

The one and only thing was one of the floorboards by the entrance had come up but didn’t make any difference whatsoever

The cleanliness and location

The flat was very spacious and had most things required. Powerful shower Spacious fridge and freezer.

The TV did not have any reception so had to watch limited apps on it and in comparison to the size if the room was tiny. The front room was very very cold and hard to warm up. We were woken up from the room next door on the 2nd night banging at 3am for an hour then banging again at 8am. The frying pans and saucepans were not in good condition. The shower basket could be chucked away as extremely rusty then this would be much better cosmetically. A chain on the back of the front door would make it feel more secure.

Nothing. The area is run down and the local pub and amenities are run down.

The property wasn't clean even though the host said cleaners had been in 🤫 when we arrived we was greeted by the smell of poo from the bathroom, the bedding looked like it had been used the night before, the area looks and is rough, its definitely a property that has no cleaner or a bad one, and the parking space we was told we had was taken by someone 🙅 i dont like leaving bad reviews because I've used booking.com for years, and its always been a positive site for me but I wouldn't stay in a place like this let alone pay for it, sorry to say its an unsuitable property for booking.com 😮‍💨

The location was ok

The flat needs a total refurbishment to bring it up to a good standard it was in poor condition. It smelt of stale cigarette, the sofa was itchy, curtains hanging off the windows in the front big room. Daddy longlegs and spiders in the property. The bin in the kitchen was rusty and had no bin liner. Rusty shampoo holder in bathroom. Badly fitted carpet in bedroom. Quality of bed lined was very poor. No proper table to eat out food on. It was a special treat I took my kids for the bonfire evening but the flat was not a " delightful flat ". I wish I'd taken photos of everything I've mentioned.
