Lakkios charming suites and rooms

The staff was really friendly, helpful. Place is not far from the center. Comfy pillows. Mini bar. Free big parking by the port.

Apartment on the first floor was straight to the street , was very noisy and people would look passing by so you have to stay with the blinds down if you want any privacy. Breakfast was nice but limited, when we came to the table, there was only one boiled egg each, one loaf of bread each, a bit strange. The shower head was not working well, was falling down and the whole shower system was quite old as well as the shower cabin. Bed covers were with the visible stains, single bed as well, was not pleasant to even keep our belongings on it.

Being located outside the main tourist area turned out to be a bit of a bonus. The hotel is situated next to one of the harbours, with a couple of popular restaurants and an area for swimming just a couple of minutes away. We were also able to book a terrific boat trip from just outside the hotel.It was incredibly hot during our stay, so the air-conditioning in the room and the ice-cream shop 5 minutes away were much appreciated. The room was lovely, with such a tall ceiling and a great balcony that we made good use of each morning and evening. The two girls who looked after the accommodation were incredibly friendly and helpful. Syracuse is a lovely city, with so much history to explore (the Archaeological Museum was incredible), but just walking around the streets was a real pleasure. They are doing some rennovations in the harbour area just outside the hotel (didn't cause any noise problems), so it will be an even more desirable area once completed.

Cute and characterful place, convenient for Ortigia, and with lovely staff

This was a fantastic accomodation in front of the harbour and only 10min walking from the Ortigia center. We could do our check in much earlier and that was very helpful, they also reccomend us beaches to visit and places to go during our stay, like Noto that it was amazing. The breakfast was very good and there is easy parking in front of the accomodation. The staff was very friendly and helpful all the time, we really enjoyed our stay. On the last day we could not have the breakfast as we had to go to the airport earlier and they prepared a bag with some thing for us to eat later. Much appreciated!!

They were doing some construction works on the road in front of the accomodation and the views were not very great, however that was not their fault, it was a coincidence. I have nothing bad to say, all was very good.

Nothing negative

I didn't try the breakfast. The hotel was very cute, near a marina just a short walk from Ortigia. There was lots of parking outside, and a little beach across the street next to the jetty that I didn't discover until the night before leaving! Keep that in mind, as beach areas nearby are hard to come by, or a bit of a drive from this area. I enjoyed the Nespresso in the suite, the design features, and the outdoor patio!

The hotel seems to have a lot of rules. They are very strict apparently about the electricity key that shuts everything down when you leave. It was also a bit noisy in the morning--it's on a corner and one side is on a busier street.
