Lakkios charming suites and rooms

The young lady at reception was very welcoming and helpful. Large room and comfy bed. Good breakfast.

Only downside was traffic noise on the Saturday night

Beautiful room with balcony overlooking the harbour. Comfortable bed, excellent pillows. Very clean. Good shower room. Breakfast was excellent too. The receptionist, Julia who I believe had just started working there was very professional and helpful.

The immediate area outside the hotel was a bit grubby, but frankly this seems to depend upon how good the local Mayor and town council are at rubbish collection. We noticed that some towns in sicily were spotless and others dirty.

From the start of our arriving to the accommodation we were greeted with friendly and great service, the breakfast was more than required and we did not leave feeling hungry, the location was a short walk from all the historical sites and restaurants, there is plenty of free parking close by and in fact we parked right outside the hotel.

Lakkios is a simple B&B located in the shore, so it is what it is. Simple breakfast, but satisfactory. It was close to the harbor, and was not difficult to find a public place to park our car.

It is not so close to Ortigia island to compensate some lack of everything: one or two restaurants only available in the vicinity, people talking on the street just besides our room. Our room was quite simple and had only one very small window that we had to keep closed as it was directly to a square with lots of people walking and talking. It was smelly of mold, so we had to keep air-conditioning working to reduce it. Bathroom was kind of made up of two old ones, I guess, water had no pressure and hot water was gone after two showers. Internet was not working on the room, we had to go to the reception.

Nice "old style" hotel, nicely decorated. Great location at the port, close to small beach. Free parking area . 15 min walk to the old town. Very friendly staff, good breakfast.

The view onto the marina and Ortigia. Breakfast was fantastic, both in variety and quality.

Breakfast is very good. Alexia is an excellent host.
