Shari-La Perhentian Island Resort - Bluestar

Jetty is not far off from the resort & there are plenty of restaurants nearby with good vibes & foods. Love the beach just down a few stairs from the resort, where you can snorkel & watch colourful fish given the water is clear most of the time. The staff really gave their best to assist though often times was let down by poor facilities & perhaps lack of manpower around.

Room was old & really in need of some serious renovation. TV didn't work but of course I don't mind this at all. I don't mind the insects & even cockroaches as these are to be expected when living on an island with thick jungle around. Bathroom really needs urgent repairs & though I can still live amidst these deficiencies, I don't think this resort will be on my list in the future.

Établissement à fuir !! Chambres infestés de punaises de lit et de cafards. Draps très sales, salle de bain de qualité médiocre. Nous avons tenté de changer de chambres mais après 4 visites c’était de pire en pire avec même des excréments d’insectes et du sang sur les lits. Ne pas vous fiez aux photos ni aux commentaires booking

The bungalow was dirty, bedsheets seems not to be clean

The only good thing is the location, it’s perfect.

Altough the hotel would have been designef beautiful, the lack of maintenance along meny years has turn this hotel in a mess, everything is a mess, the cleaning is far from the EU standards. They don’t cleen the rooms, don’t change the towels. We chose this hotel because the pictures were pretty nice but nothing to be with the real things there.
