"The best spot in Ballito for a relaxing and luxurious holiday."

This was our second stay in Sands Beach Breaks Ballito Manor and we would love to go again. Sandy is always so accommodating. We requested that the two single beds in the one room be made into one king bed with a mattress converter, but the maintenance lady forgot to do it. We called Sandy upon our arrival and she immediately had the lady come back to do the bed conversion. The unit is beautifully furnished and comfortable. The view is awesome, there is safe and secure undercover parking, direct beach access and it's just an overall lovely holiday destination. Thank you Sandy!

"Bad owner spoils holiday vibe"

The flat had all amenities and excellent sea view.

The owner Sandy van Rooyen was very unhelpful. I just asked a simple question about where to get the key and the only response was read your instruction guide. We switched the ceiling fan on and the remote fell off the wall. I let the owner know and the response was that it is brand new. I responded that the magnetic strip came loose. I received no response. There is a bright light shining from the corridor so we tried to pull the blinds closed and it fell off the wall. We waited 2 days for it to be repaired. The owner never responded to us or kept us updated so I ceased communicating with her. We spoke to her via the cleaning lady. The.vwashing machine didn't work and now the owner is blaming us for breaking it and to fix a rickety table. There are also warning signs and threats of being fined all over the apartment. To the extent that I didn't even say anything about the aircons that don't work Sandy made the overall stay unpleasant.

"Location excellent. Uncomfortable living conditions for the money paid. Expectations were higher."

The aircon was very poor. There were threatening notices advising that if the power tripped due to the use of the aircon, we would be responsible for the cost of the electricians call out and repairs. We were staying in a beachfront apartment with both heat and humidity were the norm. It was often uncomfortable. There was no trolley to transport the luggage from the basement garage to the apartment.
