Ik heb een heel prettig verblijf gehad in Hotel Sarges. Over alles was ik tevreden. Het personeel was bijzonder vriendelijk en behulpzaam, wat meteen een warm en welkom gevoel gaf. De kamer was schoon en comfortabel en alles was goed verzorgd. Ook de algemene sfeer in het hotel was rustig en aangenaam. De ligging was perfect. Kortom: een fijn hotel met uitstekende service. Ik zou Hotel Sarges zeker aanraden en kom hier heel graag snel terug.

De wifi werkte niet altijd even goed, maar een simkaart met mobiel internet is in The Gambia helemaal niet duur, en dan heb je overal internet.

I am so glad that I did not accept the negative reviews I had read about his hotel at face value and instead went to see for myself! I spoke with some of the guests about their stay and booked immediately when I heard that they were really happy at Sarges. It proved to be a marvellous experience- fantastic location just 5 min from Senegambia beach! with a lovely pool and fine modernised accomodation. The staff were incredible, friendly, accomodating and very professional. I loved the beautiful, cool palm garden and the pool is very well maintained, the perfect size for a relaxing swim. The breakfast was diverse and plentiful and the housekeeping staff worked hard and daily - no complaints at all in fact I urge any traveller to check out Sarges for themselves since the price is incredible given the proximity to the beach and Senegambia strip The concierge offers great service, fantastic security and best of all since this is not a huge hotel it has a wonderful community vibe - I met several international and continental like-minded travellers around the pool and we often shared a meal at the many local restaurants or a drink at the bar after a long day of excursions or sightseeing. I have stayed in many hotels in the Gambia but this is now my favourite! Despite old reviews I found no inappropriate behaviour and was extremely comfortable and felt secure in this hotel. I look forward to seeing all the staff and enjoying the tranquil palm garden again in the future.
