Beautiful, spacious apartment with old mosaic floors and elegant ceiling. Full of character. In a quiet but gracious bit of town, parallel to the sea. Full of light. Very comfortable bed. Efficient AC but not yet needed as there are generous old windows and fresh breeze. Very pleasant stay.

The amenities could do with a little more care. A coffee machine and some coffee would really allow guests to enjoy the space, work in the mornings, sit in the living room. The 2 moka machines in the shelf both have broken/missing handles so can’t be used. No coffee. A couple of wine glasses would also enhance the experience. The owner is responsive: there were a few issues with sockets for converters from the UK, and with the hairdryer. She sent someone to replace both. But they don’t have a spare set of keys, which is odd and means the guest has to coordinate and be in for any such needs. b&b owners usually have at least one set of spare keys: they would help.

Il Wi-Fi non funziona. Sono stati messi apparecchi di potenziamento del segnale ma i muri spessi non consentono una buona ricezione.

The apartment is poorly maintained: the chairs are worn out, there is mold in the bathroom, and the balcony door cannot be opened. The bedside lamp had an electrical fault and was sparking, which made me afraid of getting electrocuted. About half of the lights don’t work. There is a general sense of neglect and dirt, but this is not the fault of the cleaning staff—rather the owners, who do not invest in or properly take care of the property. Easy to follow guidance provided in advance allowed us easy access to the property. The location is fantastic, close to everything in Ortigia.

Although a beautiful old property, it’s very loud and we found it difficult to sleep at night due to noise disturbances (e.g. cars, mopeds, people talking, cats, the shutting of doors etc.)

Siamo arrivati dopo un escursione sull Etna e non abbiamo trovato l' acqua nell' appartamento,nel giro di un paio di ore hanno risolto il problema,anche se avremmo preferito lavarci e andare a letto. Consigliata una maggiore attenzione per la pulizia del bagno . Cuscino troppo alto,offrendo un unica possibilità meglio una via di mezzo . Piumino senza copripiumino. Ventola del bagno non funzionante. Climatizzatore in sala non funzionante . Wi-Fi lento e con password errata (abbiamo inserito il codice scritto sul router ben diverso da quello trovato su foglio stampato )
