Casa Mixteca Santo Domingo Oaxaca

Our host was very good at being helpful with getting us connected with transportation back to airport. The Host made sure we had bottled water fresh fruit and snacks upon arrival.

We had some difficulty, but the Host was very easy to work with and promptly helped get us the keys.

I liked everything. This little house was amazing!!! Love the location, the house so cute decorated, everything was spotless, love the treats they had for us. Love it!!!

I didn’t dislike anything. Very high satisfied!!!

Súper céntrico

The check in/out process was seamless, our hosts were very responsive to all our messages, and the property was fantastic. Everything we wanted was in easy walking distance and it was lovely to have a whole apartment rather than a room. The photos don't do it justice, it was very pretty and so homely. We had lots of water provided for us too. The host also made payment easy and gave us an enormous list of recommendations, and helped us find a bar which was showing a football game we wanted to see.

It was nice to have some food left (oats and some bread and breakfast bars etc) but these weren't topped up/replaced and I wouldn't advertise it as breakfast being provided every day. This was not a problem for us and didn't take away from the property but something to be aware of. There is a wonderful bakery less than a minute walk away (Pan con madre) and another slightly further (Boulenc). The power went once or twice but it seemed likely to be a city wide problem and came back quickly.

Location was ideal for tourist areas and ADO(15mins). Quiet street. House was perfect for our short stay(4 days). Food provided by owner was a bonus. Entry to house was straightforward and communications with the owner were simple and efficient

House can get hot but lack of AC is offset by provision of 2 fans. Bed is quite small but there is also a sofa bed available

We had a small kitchen with a frig, sink, and a 2 burner hot plate which was adequate for our needs. The location was perfect, easy to get to, and there was the greatest bakery about 1/2 block away Pan Con Madre. The host left us lots of good food to use, cereal, tea, bananas, etc. We didn’t use much of it because we liked to use our own food.

The second bed was a sofa bed, wasn’t so comfortable, although the host found us a foam .

The location is excellent and bed is comfortable.

The house is terribly hot! Needs some maintenance and more attention to cleaning. Breakfast was not at all what was expected (there was no fruit, just open packets of crackers and cereal in dusty packets...) The bathroom needs a much more thorough cleaning. The shower has low pressure and is stuck in the wall (unfortunately this is common in Mexico). The house has so many trinkets that I was afraid of forgetting things in the middle of so much or bringing something that doesn't belong to me.

we stayed over the Dias de los Muertos festival and Casa Mixteca was the perfect place to stay, centrally located but on a quiet road so you were able to sleep while the festivities went on through the night. having the kitchen area was great and we made ourselves coffee every morning Moises was attentive during our stay and asked if we needed the place cleaning and was quick to sort out the Wi-Fi when we were having issues Lovely place to stay, we’ll be back again
