Yellowwood Cottage, Somerset West

A super cosy & peaceful place to relax while traveling. Stays cool with shade and a breeze even when it is hot outside. Features air conditioning, a fan, and Apple TV. Dishes washed daily by staff. Tracey is an incredible host and went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable, even providing coffee pods, milk, filtered water & rusks for free. Checking in every few days to make sure everything was good with the accomodation.

Loved the cupboards, coffee, rusks, fresh towels (this was so thoughtful, wow, the host was so kind). The bedsheet, bed and duvet felt luxurious! The trees and plant life enhanced this euphoric experience. The pool was so clean, as was everything else. I loved tanning on the sun-beds. I’m such a critic, so finding anything which exceeds my expectations is rare. But this accommodation? It definitely exceeded my expectations.

adjusting the hot and cold water to the right temperature was difficult

Very spacious room, very clean, private and quiet, nice comfortable bed. Host was there to receive me, friendly and welcoming. It's quite close to Waterstone village and Somerset central. It's a good central location, good neighborhood. I felt safe there.

Recommend keep an extra blanket in the room for those coming from a warmer climate. I could have used the heater on the aircon I guess, but it wasn't that cold.
