Yellowwood Cottage, Somerset West

I liked the cleanliness of the place and the owner was very friendly and helpful.

Excellent location very near Cape Town, with Somerset West, Heidelberg and Strand on the doorstep. Save and clean beaches very nearby, and the area is surrounded by some of the best wine farms in the world. The neighbourhood is upmarket and save, walkable, with a Spar supermarket just a minute’s walk away. The climate is highly pleasant, not as hot in summer as the rest of the Boland or as cold in winter. The unit is secure, perfectly clean and neat, very well equipped and lots of secure parking behind a remote controlled gate. Very professional and friendly host. Will definitely return soon.

The bed was not as comfortable as we would have preferred but that is a personal preference. It was too soft to our liking
