"For couple or whole adults the house would be fine. Small children and older people would struggle."

6.0

It’s was close to other family

We had both sets of elderly parents with us, so between the steep stairs, the extremely hard beds, the bottom bedroom was always freezing and the high bath/shower it was not a relaxing stay.

Lovely big old house

Reversing out was hard , they could do with putting stones where the grass area is to turn around to go back out of the narrow drive

"Beautifal house"

9.0

The house was beautiful, so large and quirky. There were lots of little extras that were perfect. We had a fantastic time for my sons graduation

The bed downstairs and the 2 single beds definitely need new mattresses. I'm glad I took my air fryer as the oven took so long to cook, so I did not use it.

"Absolutely wonderful would definitely go back. So much to do within an hours drive we just ran out of time."

10.0

Absolutely amazing property photos don’t do it justice. Quiet location and only 10 minutes drive from Bournemouth Beach . Two huge double bedrooms, 3rd double decent size(downstairs), 4th bedroom two small single beds but perfectly adequate for grandchildren. Lovely outside space with ample parking. Kitchen very well equipped with dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer and large fridge freezer. Spotlessly clean.

3 out of the 4 adults found the beds a bit hard. Down to personal preference I think. Saucepans were a nightmare everything sticks to them. Couldn’t work out how to use the oven despite there being written instructions. Steep drop in the garden, something to be aware of if you have young children but absolutely fine for ours. None of this detracted from our stay and I’m sure the hostess would have happily helped if I had contacted her.

"Excellent base to visit the county or even to stay on site and relax."

10.0

The property was roomy and comfortable. Property had upstairs bathroom and toilet and an additional downstairs toilet. Lovely areas on back front and side of property so could catch the sun in different places at different times of day. Owner was very easily contactable via Booking.com site for advice when needed. every thing you could need was available There was a large umbrella that guests could borrow which left us in awe and if our part of the country had as much sun we would definitely try and get one.

Nothing we didn't like except our holiday ending and having to leave the property.

"Beautiful quirky house in quiet cul de sac easy access to all parts of Bournemouth"

10.0

This property is very quirky. A beautiful Arts and Crafts house, fantastic high ceilings, very spacious rooms. It had everything we needed for a family with older children and grandma on a weekend away. It must have had fantastic views when it was first built set on the side of a hill and looking over the valley below. The terrace is a great sun trap for sitting out and relaxing. The beds were all so comfortable. Stephanie left us flowers and welcome gifts which was lovely and was very responsive to any queries we had.

You have to accept the quirkiness; the kitchen is split level so lots of walking between the two separate sections of the kitchen and the utility but that is just part of the charm.
