"Great location, great hosts andhomely accommodation."

Great countryside views over to the east, in the direction of the Lawley. Accommodation is funtional and comfortable. Kitchen/diner, bathroom and bedroom. Sure an extra soft chair would be nice - but I'm not sare where it could be located,

"Homely, beautiful and friendly!"

10.0

Loved the cottage itself, the hosts were lovely and helped us to get into the lockbox on arrival - despite being very late due to a wedding. We also were greeted with fresh milk the next morning as we arrived so late and didn’t have supplies, the lady asked if we needed anything! Very kind!

Inside was nice

Lady was rude , doesn’t like kids , told my child he wasn’t allowed on his bike , then said he had to go in as play time was over when he came off. Gave me the WiFi password and said it doesn’t work but you’re welcome to try. We left a night early as she was so so rude. If you have a family avoid this place

"Cosy, warm and comfortable annexe in a perfect setting."

10.0

Great location. Easy access as a hiker. Good communication prior to my stay and a lovely welcome from the owners family when I arrived. The cottage was a perfect place to rest after a days hiking as part of a 3 day hike. A few miles off from the Shropshire Way and Church Stretton. Plenty of routes nearby to explore on foot, by bike or horse. The under floor heating was a bonus for my tired feet and having a nice bath helped too. The bed was comfy and the whole property was tastefully decorated. Lots of good books, maps and information about the area are provided. Lovely views from the field (also a campsite). Easy access to public transport if needed (bus on main road and train in Church Stretton) There's a good pub down the road (15 minute walk/1km) that serves brilliant breakfast from 8:30am (as of March 2025). Also a lovely pub 2.5 miles along the country road and footpaths in Picklescott serving lunch and dinner. The owners of the accommodation are wonderful and very friendly, willing to help and with lots of knowledge about the area. Bear in mind it's a self catering property so do come prepared with food and beverages.

It was a perfect place, just perhaps a jug of milk in the fridge would be nice but it's not a major thing at all as you can always ask the owner if needed anyway.
