Accueil très chaleureux, de nombreuses indications pour notre randonnée à Sandan-Kyô falls et pour la suite de notre voyage. Big Bear nous a accompagnés au parking le matin pour nous guider. Il nous a gentiment cuisiné un repas du soir et un petit-déjeuner vu que tout était fermé le weekend d'Obon. Le logement est agréable et propre, la chambre confortable. De bons moments avec un hôte sympathique qui parle bien anglais et manie l'humour.

Big Bear is heel vriendelijk, doet zo zijn best, alles heel spontaan, houdt wel van een babbeltje. Wij voelden ons super welkom. Big bear gaf ons veel tips over alles wat je in de buurt kan doen. Regio Akiota is prachtig.

We had an incredible stay at the Guest House. Big Bear San was an exceptional host, making sure we had the best experience possible! This was by far the best experience we had here in Japan. I cannot recommend it enough to stay here and experience the magic of the guest house, big bear San and the beautiful area!

Our host, Big Bear San, went out of his way to ensure we had a great experience He gave us advice on bus transport and picked us up from the highway bus stop, saving us an hour each way. He essentially acted as our guide, helped us see the Sandankyo gorge by adapting our schedule to the weather. He took us up to climb Mt. Shinnyu and showed us other beautiful viewpoints. He shuttled us out to a restaurant for dinner and cooked us breakfast on our last morning. He speaks excelled English and is an interesting and compassionate human being. One of the best experiences we had in Japan

I'm 75 inches tall and I bumped my head a few times, but that's Japan for tall people, lol. The beds were plenty big for me.

The host was really kind and let us check in after check in times, gave us amazing food, good information about the surrounding area and Japan. Also gave us great stories about his live. The house was safe and amazing to stay in, the location was beautiful and totally worth the money

Excellent location a short walk to the entrance of Sandan-Kyo. Wonderful, clean accommodation with great facilities. The host was excellent. Very helpful and accommodating throughout our whole stay. He went above and beyond to help us and make us feel welcome. I would definitely stay here again and recommend others to do so.

We had a great time with Mr big bear! We can totally recommend to stay here! He really goes the extra-mile to deliver an awesome experience! We hope your foot is doing well!
