A warm welcome, lovely rooms (very comfortable beds) and an amazing breakfast included. Highly recommended!

The best B&B we have stayed in by far. A warm welcome from the owners, who couldn't do enough to make sure we had a wonderful stay. Our room was lovely - beautifully furnished and decorated, with lots of lovely little touches. The room was spotless and cosy, with an exceptionally comfortable bed and well-appointed bathroom. We were made to feel incredibly welcome, and enjoyed a drink in the bar. The breakfast was exceptional, and again with friendly service. Location is great, really lovely quiet area but handy for Scarborough. Can't recommend highly enough, we will definitely return!

Would have like breakfast a bit earlier (9am is quite late) and to be a bit clearer what we could have - it was strictly cooked OR continental but when we asked we could have juice with the cooked brekkie, and jam with the toast.

The room was beautiful, spacious and in a stunning location. Casey was polite and a bit more welcoming to start with but it was a very low bar.

Joe was my first impression and made me feel extremely unwelcome and uncomfortable throughout my stay, as if I was an inconvenience. The bathroom doorway was dangerously low (I hit my head several times and I’m not tall). There was also a lot of noise which made it hard to relax. I didn’t go for breakfast on the second day because of how unfriendly the atmosphere was. Housekeeping entered late in the afternoon without asking, moved my belongings (even folding my clothes and pyjamas), a pastry went missing, and the bins weren’t emptied. The bedroom door also doesn’t lock securely — it can be pushed open even when latched.

Great location, love the vibes - feels warm and homely, very peaceful feels like you’re in the middle of the countryside with no traffic noises. The breakfast was very very nice! I had the full English (however we don’t usually easy breakfast) so my partner had yogurt and fruit, which was plenty enough. Great you can choose from something light to something more substantial. The bed was nice and comfortable, and the room was warm and cosy. Facilities were spot on also.
