The Foulsyke Licensed Bed and Breakfast Scalby Scarborough

Casey and Joe had their hands full with a large family celebration on-site. However we still received a very warm welcome and checked in to our comfortable room. They even provided us with an evening meal to save us going out (we had walked a long way!).

It was amazing so warm and friendly the little added extras were very special. It was quirky and a delight to stay there. Also the breakfast was amazing. Fantastic location. Beautiful garden and decor simply fabulous 👌

It was too expensive. We pick that B & B as we saw it was a bistro. Yet when my husband asked if they were doing food. The lady said only breakfast ...

Great hosts, very friendly and very attentive. A very clean room. A very quiet location.

From the moment we arrived, we were greeting by our hosts, Casey and Joe, and they couldn't have been nicer. They are such genuinely lovely people and they have a really nice B&B with a fantastic atmosphere. The place is spotlessly clean and the room is gorgeous. We had the attic room. The room has plenty of space and a very comfortable bed. The room has all the facilities you would need including a TV, fan, hairdryer and kettle. They also provide you with plenty tea, hot chocolate, several varieties of coffee and some tasty cookies too. The room also has plenty of sockets for any electrical items. The bathroom is stunning and has a large free standing rolltop bath that faces the window and there is a nice view out the window. There is also a nice shower. The bathroom is stocked with plenty clean towels and plenty toiletries are provided too. The room was serviced each day, towels were changed as needed and tea and coffee etc. was re-stocked. For breakfast, the options are varied to suit all tastes and the quality of food is excellent and delicious. The cooked breakfast is particularly good and certainly sets you up for the day. We didn't get to eat any evening meals there, but the menu looks great and from what I have heard, their food is fantastic. Based on how good the breakfast is, I was not surprised to hear such positive words about their other food. The B&B is also licenced and they have a bar. We did not drink in the B&B, but they have a decent selection of beers and quite an impressive selection of spirits, and in particular, a good selection of whisky. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Foulskye. We have booked again for next year and we are already looking forward to going back. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

This is only a minor thing, but I would have preferred a more powerful and quieter fan for the room. The weather was very hot while we there, so it was necessary to have the fan on most of the time.

Staff, location, room quality and cleanliness. Breakfast was delicious too.

The owner was so accommodating and helpful. Lovely place and great breakfast. Will be back soon :)
