"Warm welcome, cosy and homely and very interesting property."

Poached eggs - very well presented - I have gluten free bread which was available. It was a good quality gluten free bread - they did not use the cheap gluten free which does make a difference ie taste and presentation.

"Scalby B&B"

The owner was friendly and the breakfast was top notch. Room was clean. Converted farm house so room was quirky layout overlooking the stables to rear.

Wasn't sure we had reached the correct destination as no mention of B&B at the front. Postcode didn't give us precise location on satnav but was easily remedied on ringing the property. When you reach farmhouse/bistro you have arrived. Parking is just on right through gates.

The location. A farm stay close to Scarborough and a short drive to the rugged coast around the Robin Hood's Bay area. Very pleasant host with local advice on where to eat and routes for dog walking.

A lovely breakfast but a suprise hidden extra cost .
