Luxury Air-conditioned Family Apartment Špitálska Old Town

Location is perfect, the apartment is really big, has a nice kitchen.

Nothing luxury about this place. It is big, it is on a great location, but it's not luxury. It is fine, but has a lot of flaws. When you add to that, that they request 200 euros of prepayment as a deposit, and the apartment is not in a great shape in the first place. Balcony is locked up and you can't access it. And there is a freaking camera in the apartment, that looks at the front door it seems.

Location was good - very close to the old town, amazing coffee places nearby for breakfast in the morning

Wasn’t clean enough; dust across the apartment; amenities were not fully functional (e.g washing machine); the balcony door was locked; host asked for additional city tax to be paid inspite of booking and paying taxes through booking.com; location was not pinned properly , hence, not easy to find , the person for communication did not speak English and the communication was difficult. Extra charges asked for anything, incl baby crib, laundry (given washing machine was present, although not working)

Photos (booking - nicely done by skilled photographer vs reality) Cleanliness - spider webs, dirty floor / walls, hanging cables, etc. Probably used blankets laying on a sofa Worn sofas "Old stuff" / dirt under carpets (probably pretty old too) A few too many "no smoking" signs - not a sign of luxury Unfortunately, balcony was locked - "it's there, but you can not really use it" Overall, apartment seems to be ready for some renovations (painting, etc.), if it's going to be called luxurious (my opinion). After making some renovations, this could be 7-9/10 (based of the quality of those changes).

A very good place for short stays.

Despite our request (and reminder) we have not received an invoice. Not cool if you need this for a business trip and possible also not in line with Slovak laws.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE !

the apartment has been cheaply renovated, is not luxurious at all. dirtiness is everywhere you look around. washing machine is broken, kitchen dirty with fridges that are filthy and stinking from dirtiness, pieces of the kitchen furniture missing, advertised jacuzzi is broken they asked us not to use it, but it starts suddenly anytime during the day or night. also some windows are broken with a sign not to open them. furniture everywhere in the apartment is also broken, but the property also asks for a deposit of 200€ as guarantee of eventual damage of a house that is half broken ? are you kidding me ? They simply refused to refund partially our stay, ruined our vacation and will be sued immediately ! We had to spend more money in order to find a different place to stay since in this one we did not even have a shower due to the dirtiness ! places like this should not be part of booking.com that also offered poor assistance resolving the issue, since safety and cleanliness in any place of stay are mandatory
