Ewe Retreat Shepherds Hut

It was amazing from start to finish. Loved the scenery and hot tub time was amazing. Very quiet and lovely place. Wished I could stay longer . This was a birthday hideaway for my partner who loved this.

Wished the weather allowed for more outdoors. Nothing bad to say about this place. If you like a country side feel with nature..then this is the place. Would want to have such setting for more than 2 people.

the secluded rural views where breathtaking, the horses were a bonus and the added farm cat we saw once! having the toilet/shower in another hut was no issue for us. the bed was soft,cosy, and comfy with plenty supplied in the kitchen. very much appreciated the robes to use going to and from the hot tub. we used the bus stop on the main road to get into both Ross on Wye & Hereford - they ran fairly regularly and were reliable. We drove to Symonds Yat for great views of the valley and pretty Autumnal walks. Emily and her Husband were extremely helpful and at the other end of the phone if we needed them. would highly recommend to couples looking for a quiet and romantic escape with a little bit of town/city exploration.

What a beautiful retreat! The view was breathtaking and the facilities were beyond perfect! I wish I could have stayed more than 6 days! Sam greeted myself by the gate and showed us around the beautiful hut and surroundings! I cannot wait to return! If you are you looking for a peaceful getaway you need to stay here! The location was stunning with beautiful countryside all around. The hut was perfect, cosy and had everything needed for a long weekend retreat. The bathroom was clean, warm and only a couple of steps from the hut. Extra hut with fridge, micro and seating. Well lit in the evening. Hot tub was great. We loved it and highly recommend.

Amazing stay, Sam and Emily are amazing hosts and this place really felt like our own piece of paradise. We will 100% be coming back here in the future.

NO NEGATIVES! The only thing I could possibly add to this place would be a mop for the bathroom floor as it can stay wet for quite a while and maybe an addition of a parasol in the tree stump table.

The owners were very nice and welcoming, they took the time to show us around and where things were. Everything was thought about from hand soap in the bathroom to dish soap in the kitchen with cutlery and utensils for the kitchen and bbq. Plenty of fire wood and toilet roll. The views were breathtaking.

Lovely warm welcome from Sam. The hut is located a short walk from the farm house in basically your own secret garden! Fences and trees surround the area so it feels private. The views are spectacular - the hut overlooks horse and sheep fields and forests/hills beyond that. Great facilities - separate hut for the fridge/freezer and microwave, as well as a hob in the main hut. Comfortable cosy bed and a surprisingly large and well equipped separate bathroom hut. The shower is brilliant - great pressure and instant hot water. The hot tub is awesome and a great addition. Fire wood and welcome Prosecco included in the price too! Ten minutes away from a Tesco superstore - very convenient. Hosts are on hand for any questions or issues, but other than that leave you in peace. Fantastic stay. Cannot recommend enough. Looking forward to our next stay there! Thank you Sam and Emily!

There was some noise from the road, but it is a working farm and wasn’t a nuisance. Difficult to find fault with Ewe’s Retreat- hidden gem!
