We were greeted by our host Sam on arrival. He was very welcoming, friendly and helpful. I liked the peace and quiet. Waking up with birdsong or the farmer doing his morning rounds. You can hear some traffic, but this is minimal. The views are beautiful. After chilling out in the jacuzzi and then warming by the fire to watch the stars. You couldn't ask for more on a couples weekend trip. It was a perfect experience to switch off from everyday life to relax and recharge before heading back to work.

I love a lay in, but that did not happen due to the birds or the farmer waking us up. But, we will definitely recommend this place to family and friends, I am sure we will be back at some point. I didn't like it ending and having to go back to work!

"Cosy shepherd’s hut & relaxing hot tub"

Shepherd’s hut was lovely and cosy. Had everything we needed for our stay. Easy to find and host greeted us and showed us everything we’d need. Hot tub was great, especially as it was under cover and we could use it when it snowed! Great location with plenty of places to go walking nearby. Would visit again!
