Wah Resort Gili Trawangan

Well located complex of rooms with pleasant veradahs overlooking a lush courtyard with pool. Comfortable beds and a range of hire options from the reception. Great breakfast served on a restaurant area next to the beach.

We enjoyed the stay, and it was value for money, but the rooms were small and the bathroom was not air-conditioned. The pool - as mentioned in other reviews - was really just a green pond that you couldn't swim in. Staff were not very welcoming, and when I reported dirt and ants all over one of the beds thier first response was not good enough.

Ok this is a controversial on, I like the position just south of the busy area, so quite but very close to restaurants and all the activities. It's beach front with private beach with umbrellas and nice resto on the beach. We choose the biggest room so was spacious. The staff was very friendly and helpful. For the money we paid was great.

The structure it's old and not well maintained unfortunately. It has big potential but they are not investing the money to maintain so for example the pool dock wood it's broken in parts and dangerous. The pool was green almost the time, never really clean water. The mattress are super hard like stones. For me no problem but my family complain about them. They don't have good cleaning standards so we have to clean the staff to clean again the room. The toilet was stinky we have to buy deodorants for the toilet and keep the door close all the time.

Good location , nice pool , bungalow was look nice , but the room worth a price , cheap - cheap :)

Bungalow size and location. bathroom hadn't been cleaned. Rubbish bin was full of someone else's toilet paper. swimming pool would have been great if it was clean & safe enough to swim in was slime & green . We stayed 1 night out of 5 for our booking.

This resort is so dodgie. If u chose to stay here beware...We were charged twice for our 5 night booking & we spent hours over several days to get 1 payment refunded. Staff were very good at deflecting our enquireis for our refund come back in 1 hr come back tomorrow. Ect We were told on arrival we needed to pay for our booking . We thought we had paid through booking.com as it didn't show on our credit card we paid cash on arrival as asked. 2 days later our credit card payment showed through booking.com so we evenntually got our cash payment refunded. This was not easy or pleasant. We only stayed 1 night because of the disgustingly slimey pool. Gilli wah agreed to refund 4 nights stay but then told booking.com that we were a no show and they hve charged us for the 5 nights. GILLI WAH RESORT actually said we weren't there at all.... 6 days later their pool was still slime. Other staff told us the pool guy had left the ages ago.
