Casal da Penha Apartments

The location is perfect, Maikel our host was very attentive and helpful, the apartment was clean, modern, roomy and comfortable. We would love to visit Madeira again and without a doubt we would stay here. Also his restaurant is superb. If you stay here you MUST book a table, the food is excellent and the service too. Unsurprisingly they get fully booked all the time so book ahead!

Nothing to criticise at all. We suggested that a coffee maker would be nice because we are big coffee drinkers but really, that's just being picky!

Super bem localizado e apartamento super bem preparado para um casal ou uma pequena família. Vista incrível do solário. Anfitrião espetacular.

O cheiro no prédio onde se insere não é de todo agradável mas pode ter sido só na nossa altura e não se nota dentro do apartamento. Luz no quarto (os cortinados não fazem blackout).

Понравилось расположение объекта. Можно пешком добраться до центра города. В то же время находится в отдалении от шумных мест.

Great location close to many great restaurants and just a 20min walk to Funchal centre. Friendly welcome from host. Very accommodating of our early check-in time. Clean modern apartment. Comfy bed. Great shower. Very good restaurant on site. Nice to have a sea view.

It’s a shame that the balcony is overlooked by the terrace of the next door bar. Couldn’t really sit out without feeling a little watched. Also some noise in the evening from the same bar. But the rest of the time it was quiet and the positives definitely outweighed the negatives.
