The Galveston Victorian Condo

The pool was nice and great location

The pool wasn’t opened after 1020 there was a line of people waiting to swim

It was very comfortable. Very clean. Convenient.

The parking. It was hard to find parking. No place to buy water bottles, sodas , snack in the lobby. Main bed was too soft for us. It sank in the middle. We both ended up sleeping back to back in the middle of the bed lol.

We loved how close the condo was to the beach and near things to do in Galveston!

It was really windy the last day but we had fun!

Loved the view of the sea! The view of the pool was gorgeous! This place was perfect, and we loved every minute of our stay! Our host was great and so nice as well!

The sofa bed was a little uncomfortable. The mini fridge was a lot smaller than we thought, the pics made it look bigger. Some of the pans weren't clean on the shelves so we had to wash them but that wasn't a huge big deal for us.

Great location.

No ice trays in the fridge. Elevator still out of order Living room ceiling fan didn’t work.

Was in good location & unit had great view of Gulf.

Checking in people were rude, rude, rude!!! Stayed in building 5 & elevator was broken. We were 5 senior women and had to walk up stairs with luggage. Half of us were not physically fit with limited mobility. I guess we were under the impression this was more of a hotel than condo. THIS MUST BE TOLD TO BOOKERS IN ADVANCE THAT THERE WILL BE NO HELP FROM THE VICTORIAN & WE MUST HAVE OUR ON SUPPLIES! Only had 1 set of towels for each person with a 4 day stay and small amount of toilet paper. No instructions from “hosts” on this. Shower was great except for being slow draining & a slip hazard. Building itself was rundown and a little shabby.

The location to the beach was great. The owner was very responsive once we had trouble getting in and figuring out which condo was actually our rental.

I didn’t like that I didn’t get the property I saw in the pictures - I thought I was paying for a particular vibe and view and we didn’t get either. We were stranded outside the condo we thought was ours for about 15 minutes without the door code after 12 hours of travel and we had to haul our luggage to an entirely different condo - we were tired so that made it more frustrating. We were given two different condo numbers. I also thought it was pretty worn out - stains on the towels, marks all over the walls, and the bunk beds were spring mattresses so you could feel the springs in them. People were very loud most of the night outside our condo. There was also a cockroach, but you’ll find spiders in my own so I guess I can’t complain too much.
