Mai chau Horizon Homestay

Despite the tropical depression, my stay at Gateway Inn Pu Luong was nothing short of incredible. The clean, modern rooms offered breathtaking views of Ban Dong villages, towering mountains, and picturesque terraced rice fields. The friendly and enthusiastic staff made me feel right at home. And the Inn's prime location within Pu Luong National Reserve ensured easy access to the park's stunning natural beauty.

The staff is lovely and helpful. The place is nice and characteristic, perfect for an experience in Mai Chau.

I didn't find my bed and towels to be very clean, too many stains. The bathroom was ok, nice and clean, but the faucet was too small for that sink, I could barely fit my hands between the tap and the sink, it was really awkward!

Very nice place very well located close to the rice fields and a nice local village with restaurants and friendly people.

The Horizon was the best homestay in our entire trip of Vietnam. The hosts were really kind and the home was in a perfect location! I will suggest this homestay to everyone who would like to experience the Mai chau life. Furthermore we eat dinner at their place and what to say, it was absolutely amazing!!

Our hosts were very friendly and welcoming. Nana was a bit of a fusspot but the rest of the family always aimed to please and make our stay comfortable. The food was so delicious and was far better than anything we ate at the local restaurants.

Don't expect air conditioning or soft beds if staying in the traditional home but we found it to be more comfortable than expected.

It was really a homestay at the local family which was super. We had dinners next to the living room and “mum” cooked the dinner/breakfast. As at visit :)
