Modern home in Birmingham

Property was clean, very comfortable and looks beautiful.

It was very difficult to find the location and also the entrance of the property was very dirty bins need to be sorted. The house was very nice and clean and comfy.

The apartment

The location is very convenient, about 15-20 mins by walk to city centre. Also the house is clean with adequate utensils for cooking. Parking is easy, outside the house.

The heaters at the rooms do not work. As there should be two bathrooms, but the cold water of one of the bathroom does not work. Only very hot water is available. It was very inconvenient for five persons to share one bathroom. I believe the host should check all basic facilities before booking confirmation. Additional 200 pounds for security deposit is required before check in.

The location was central to everything. Very close to Birmingham City Centre but quiet and private at the same time. Modern with all the facilities you could have asked for. Host was easy to reach and helpful.

It was all good. Didn’t have a bad point.

Property was advertised with free parking, after a long drive, we got to the property around 10.45PM and was told it would be fine to park on double yellows down the street where the house was and we wouldn't get a fine - Not something we were really wanting to risk - so there is in fact, no parking available with the property. The street was also blocked by a metal fence half way down and could barely turn around with the other cars parked along the one side of the road. We ended up finding a car park about 15 min walk away and paying for overnight parking. The property didn't seem very clean either- all glasses we're dirty and a strong smell of cigarette smoke in the house. The beds had hairs in them - it seemed the bedding wasn't washed from the previous people staying possibly? The main bathroom upstairs - the shower thermostat didn't work and the water was boiling hot and I burnt my foot upon testing the water. We all had to share the en-suite bathroom. The downstairs bathroom we didn't use as there was mess left in the toilet from another party of people.

Lovely house, very clean. Great communication with the host and quick responses. Great location for where we were going (utilita arena). Also close to the centre

Our only negative thing to say was that all of the mattresses were uncomfortable. You can feel the springs badly in all of them, so didn’t have the best nights sleep.
