The stunning view from the balcony and the traditional decor is the highlight of this property. Our host was communicative, friendly, and kind enough to provide parking at the last minute - no small feat in Taormini where driving is not for the faint of heart! Key access to the property was super simple. We loved the decor and despite being located on Taormina's main street, the bedroom was quiet and had darkening curtains which made for restful nights.

Unfortunately accessibility is an issue. While the location is spectacular, the apartments is above a shop which means you have to walk through the shop entrance and up 66 steps to get to the aparment. The street below has strict pedestrian only hours so getting to the street from the street above is another 100 steps - a challenge with luggage! So figure in 100 steps down from the street above and another 66 steps up to the apartment. On the bright side, we got a lot of exercise in! (Also, be prepared to bring your own toiletries as amenities are limited.)

The outside area had air of flies / mozzies so we didn’t use it though it was beautiful.

We loved the apartment’s decor and furnishing and the wonderful views from either side of the apartment. The bed was very comfortable and I slept well. The apartment had a very well equipped kitchen and the location was superb!

Best accomodation we had in Sicily! Beautiful view, clean and comfortable. I absolutely recomand it!

There was some street noise in the bedroom of the upstairs apartment. Expected because of the location however one should be aware of it before booking.
