Taormina Palazzo di Ferro

It is a great, spacious apartment right on the main walking street of Taormina. The view from the balcony is lovely, just as you see in the pictures. It is fully equiped with what tourists usually need. We went by car and we talked about parking with the host, who luckily has a garage to rent a few minutes away from the apartment. She was kind enough to share a few suggestions, Osteria da Rita is a must try for traditional Sicilian dishes.

the location was great, the apartment is really big, clean and confortable, the view is fantastic, the host is extremely kind.

everything is perfect

Absolutely lovely apartment in the centre of Taormina. Well supplied with coffee, water, fruit. Hostess was friendly and helpful.

There could have been a few more adapters supplied as there were the 3 pin Italian sockets. There could have been a bit more shower gel. And the view in the picture above shows a balcony that you can sit out on but in fact the balconies at both ends are shallow French type balconies.

We had an amazing stay at Palazzo di Ferro. The view from the bedroom was truly beautiful. The apartment was clean and equipped with everything you might need. We also considered a plus in having 2 bathrooms at our disposal. I admit I was a bit worried about street noise considering that it is located in the city center, right on Corso Umberto. But as soon as you close the windows it gets quiet, no more noise. The kid slept i n the living room with no problem. The bedroom views the other side, where it's quiet (we slept with windows open as we prefer it from AC). There is the noise from the glass garbage truck in the morning but I am sure that is heard by all of Taormina. The apartment is amazingly located, minutes away from everything (Funivia for Isola Bella, market store, Castelmona bus station, Beladonna church upward road, amazing restaurants,etc).We really enjoyed the time spent here. Francesca was lovely and always there to help. We followed all her great tips for enjoying Taormina and had an amazing time.

I loved EVERYTHING! about the apartment. After searching a lot for a place to stay Francesca's place is Fabulous the apartment is HUGE! There is a balcony off the living room and a Balcony off the bedroom, which we loved to use. laundry facility, full kitchen, nespresso machine, Big bathroom. Our host was amazing if i had to text her with any questions, like in help with taxis, the answer was immediate. Close to everything and all the incredible sight seeing Supermarket at both ends of of the promenade. Bus station, 500m walk. and bus can take you down to the train station, or you can walk its worth the walk for the scenery. So much to do here!
